At Mosaic Baptist Church, you can expect a warm welcome and a range of opportunities to help you connect with others.
Mosaic’s different congregations reflect the diverse range of ordinary people from the broader community – people from all ages, backgrounds and nationalities.
We gather together to learn more about God, to enjoy the music and the friendship of other like-minded people and to help and support one another.
What to expect at Mosaic’s services
When you arrive at one of Mosaic’s services, someone will welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
Each service typically lasts about 60 to 90 minutes, and includes music from a live band and singing (about Christian truths and God’s character), prayer, and a talk (sermon) that is based on a passage from the Bible.
Services may also hold a time of communion (reflecting on Christ’s death through sharing bread and grape juice).
Immediately after the service there will be people available to pray with you, if that is something you would like to do.
At the end of our services we encourage everyone to hang around and connect.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code at Mosaic Baptist Church. We just want you to be comfortable being you.
What’s available for my children?
Children are a special part of Mosaic’s congregations and are welcome to stay with their families during services.
For children wanting to participate in age-appropriate programs, we invite children to join one of the many children’s programs available during Mosaic’s Sunday morning services at Page and Mitchell. Parents and carers are welcome to accompany their children during these programs if so desired.
For something mid-week, Mosaic’s Busy Bees Playtime groups provide an opportunity for parents with children (ages 0-5 years) to connect.
Youth programs for high school and college students are available mid-week during school terms.
